Rea comes from a very high achieving family. The type of family that could refer to you as a “stain” if you were to fall outside their expectations. But Rea is an intelligent young lady, and she knows she can achieve whatever she wants without having to sacrifice her happiness or wellbeing. If you can go out until 1(PM), and still get H1s, then enjoy the fun. Rea’s father disapproves of this behaviour, seeing each little act of Rea’s representing her family, and thus, impacting their status. Rea knows that her father has had serious back problems for the better half of a decade, and couldn’t catch her if he tried. Deep down, she knows there’s so much underserved criticism of her, for reasons outside of her control. But she tries to be good-humoured about it, knowing that each day she doesn’t try to meet expectations, she exceeds them.
